- What are your favorite projects to work on?
I enjoy working on projects that involve collaboration and teamwork! I thrive in an environment that fosters working closely with others, brainstorming ideas, and bringing them to life. I love the opportunity to learn from and be inspired by my colleagues.
- Who are some of your role models in your field?
Some of the companies that have had a notable impact on the innovation of customer support are Disney, Trader Joe’s, and Zappos, to name a few. They are focused on the customer experience with every interaction. I’ve also had a number of personal role models throughout my career and the common threads amongst them are integrity, courage, inclusion, empathy, vision, and intelligence.
- What do you like most about being a Director of Customer Support?
I have a passion for creating outstanding experiences for our customers and a big part of that is building an incredible team which I’ve had the good fortune to do at Rockbot. We have such an amazing group of support representatives who are committed to our customers and going the extra mile every day. It’s a pleasure to lead this team.
- What is your favorite part about working at Rockbot?
Without a doubt, the people and culture. There is a visible commitment to diversity and inclusion which I truly believe is a critical component to a successful, sustainable organization; where people can show up as their true selves. I’m thrilled to be working alongside such open-minded and supportive individuals and am genuinely excited to be a part of it.
- What is your favorite part about working with Rockbotʼs customers?
It’s pretty simple - creating an outstanding and memorable experience for them. Additionally, it’s so much fun when people first tour products, and we get to hear how excited they are!
- What has been the most exciting part of your career so far?
Honestly, I’d have to say joining Rockbot. To be part of a rapidly growing company, while having opportunities to make an impact alongside smart and inspiring people, is exciting!
- What has been the most challenging part of your career so far?
In the past, I have come across leaders who only surround themselves with like-minded people. I have found that to be challenging as I believe diversity of thought and openness to different ideas is a huge lever to growth and innovation. Just another reason I appreciate the culture at Rockbot!
- What music, TV, and/or films have inspired you lately?
I’ve been diving into Mahler more - in particular his symphonies. They are stunning works of art. As far as TV/films - I have a real affinity for themes around ordinary people achieving extraordinary things. I love a good underdog story!
